Almost devilishly detailed and slightly risque art deco woman incense burner. Just a wonderful example of a highly accurate figural incense burner. The position of the incense under the woman causes the smoke to come out of her mouth, and that combined with the cigarette in her hand give the realistic appearance of a woman smoking. This piece has to be closely inspected to be fully appreciated. You can see the petticoats she's wearing, and the laces on her shoes. Made of spelter, it's in very good condition with no visible cracks or breaks. Has been nicely refinished in an Argent silver. Hard to find piece, don't let it pass you by.
