| This very unusual, authentic Devil ashtray is probably cast iron, with the original unpolished finish on front
and original black finish on back. Stamped 'Verona 555' and 'Pat Pend'. Notice the odd pose that looks like
he is pulling his skin, the skeletal legs, and the cloven hooves. These were very daring pieces for back then.
Overall condition is very good, with no visible damage. Retains a very nice original patina, doesn't look
as if it's been cleaned. Very nice example! |
