| This is a very nice example of a cold painted parrot lamp. Frequently these
are missing the cage surrounding the bulb, but this one is intact and even
retains the mica lining in good condition. You'll also
see a lot of these lamps with almost no color remaining. As you can see
from the photo this one retains a lot of its original color. There is no
damage to the metal, and there have been no repairs that I am aware of. The
small green akro agate ball does have a chip. It's rather large, but
shallow, and is not at all noticeable unless you look for it. All in all
a very nice example. |
