Really beautiful perfume Die Cut stand up Advertising store display. This is a rare
vintage late 1920's "Peoria Display Company" die-cut advertising point of purchase
display
sign for a cosmetic counter. This type and style of display sign was
called a "Vivichrome Display" and was produced in stencil form in pure
oils like a pochoir screen print. Condition is remarkable for its age.
No rips or tears, no folds or cracks. Colors are bright and vibrant. It
does show some age, a little wear on the edges, some very light stains that
you can see, but aren't obvious. there is no back easel stand, but it doesn't
appear that there ever was. This is pure deco, and a real treasure for
a perfume or cosmetics collector.
