The Hagenbeck-Wallace was a very popular circus during the depression
years. This is one of the Side Show posters. Condition is very good, no visible
tears, but glue residue mark is still visible from banner. Very light wrinkling, no
visible repairs. Beautifully framed with acid free paper. The rarest and most
desirable of all the circus posters is the sideshow poster. They seldom come up for
sale because few survived, and those that did are coveted by collectors. Features a
huge clown pushing a baby carriage filled with the freaks of the Hagenbeck circus:
The fat lady, the rubber faced man, the bearded lady, midgets, exotic tribal women,
etc. Truly a stunning image!
