| Early Day/Date clock with wood case. Works well, keeps accurate time, runs quietly. The case does have a little wear. There are family names and date of 1938 scratched into the back. We were going to remove them, but they actually seemed to be part of the history of the clock at this point, so we decided to leave it. The new owner can make their own decision. Very presentable. Dial is exceptionally clean with day and date boxes in the 6:00 position. This clock is very attractive with classic deco styling. The wood is beautiful with inlaid bands. These early day/date clocks are getting hard to find. It's a beautiful piece that runs well and is far superior to the clocks they sell today! |
