Okay, here you go folks, something you rarely see on eBay or anywhere else! Fully funcioning, totally complete
Telechron bakelite skyscraper alarm clock. Circa 1930, sometimes attributed to Paul Frankl. These clocks are
always missing the trim, missing the original plugs, missing the lights, cracked, not working, etc. This
one is clean, working, and complete! However, as with all vintage electronics, we guarantee that it will
leave here working, but we can't guarantee its continued working condition once it leaves our hands. For this
reason we always recommend insurance. Features fabulous skyscraper shaped top with stepped sides. The case is
in excellent condition. No chips, cracks or heavy scratches. Finish is smooth and shiny, trim is clean and intact.
Front of case features inlaid strips of ridged metal. As an added bonus, this clock faces is adorned with a sunray
type pattern of lines giving it a little extra style.
The original synchronous motor is in very good condition, and it keeps excellent time. Also has an interruption
indicator, letting you know if your electric service goes out. A bulb illuminates the clock face at night, and is
controlled by original bakelite knob. Replacement bulbs are available, ask us for details. Has it's orginal cord
with bakelite plug, rewired with beautiful new and safe cloth cord. Again, as with all electronics we recommend
having it checked by a pro for safety. Original brass metal tag displays model number, etc. Mirrored glass
face cover shows only moderate wear; some wear is common with this model. Bakelite back and all original
knobs are intact. Alarm is controlled by original brass switch. This clock appears to have been extremely well
taken care of. You'll have a hard time finding a cleaner example!
