Most of the time I purchase these they have a myriad of problems, including missing propellers, rust, non-working clocks, and cracks in the bakelite. But this is quite a clean example, having both propellers, a working clock, damage free body, and the extremely rare and elusive lighted cockpit (which is almost never complete and working, if there at all!). The cockpit light works on a separate switch and can be turned on & off without interupting the clock function. There are one or two very minor dings on the wings, but it's very small and minor. The plane has normal wear but is a clean and virtually damage free example. The photos give a very accurate view of how this piece looks. Currently keeps fairly accurate time, although as always, we can't guarantee continued working with vintage clock motors. Think about it, when't the last time you saw one of these in this kind of condition? Don't hesitate! |
